Makes brief cameo against Leeds
Cunha registered one shot (zero on goal) in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Leeds United.
Analysis: Cunha entered in an advanced attacking role as Manchester United searched for a late winner but had limited opportunities to influence the match, finishing without a goal contribution. The Brazilian forward has recorded one goal and two assists across seven Premier League appearances this season, including six starts, with Sunday's brief outing marking his first league appearance off the bench. Despite his recent shift to a substitute role, his versatility across central and wide attacking positions could help him regain a place in the starting lineup.
Plays 80 minutes in opener
Cunha took three shots (one on goal), crossed three times inaccurately and created two chances during Saturday's 2-0 loss to Hull City.
Analysis: Cunha was held off the scoresheet while firing the second most shots on the team during the upset loss. The forward had 12 goal involvements across 33 appearances last campaign and was selected ahead of Benjamin Sesko to lead the line Saturday.
