Registers three interceptions
Tarkowski recorded one shot (zero on goal) in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Tarkowski registered one tackle won, three interceptions and four clearances in Saturday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, organizing Everton's defensive line with the authority and experience that has made him one of the most reliable center backs in the Premier League over the past seasons. The English center back is the defensive leader of coach David Moyes' squad and his reading of the game, aerial dominance and communication with Jarrad Branthwaite alongside him give Everton the defensive foundation they will need to compete for a European place in 2026-27.
Goal and assist Sunday
Tarkowski scored one goal and assisted once from two shots and one chance created in Sunday's 2-2 draw versus Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Tarkowski was involved in both of his side's goals Saturday as he opened the scoring in the 6th minute with an unassisted strike, then assisted Beto's goal in the 47th minute with a through ball. He now has five goal contributions this season, three of which have come in his last three matches. He played well on the defensive end too as he recorded two tackles, one interception, seven clearances and two blocked shots in his full 90 minutes of action.
