Starts again
Luis generated three tackles (one won), two clearances and one interception in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Manchester City.
Analysis: Luis was back in the starting XI after a starting role in their last contest, his only two starts of the season. He would be handed a more defensive role once again, notching an interception, two clearances and three tackles. This would lead to little time on the ball, only attempting 19 passes (16 completed).
Not available for opener
Luis is not in the squad for Saturday's match against Sunderland.
Analysis: Despite optimism from Gary O'Neil that Luis was fit and would be involved, he has been left out of the squad after missing the last friendly. He had been expected to start after being cleared of his injury, but the reason for his absence is not yet known and could be precautionary. His next realistic chance to feature will be Sunday's match against Manchester United.
