Rare goal Saturday
Herrera scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus FC Dallas.
Analysis: Once in a while, Herrera can get on the scoresheet, and by doing so Saturday, he logged his third goal this season. Most of the central midfielder's value stems from his defense, and his 2026 season features 25 tackles, 19 clearances, 12 interceptions and seven blocks.
Creates five chances
Herrera had one shot (zero on goal) and five chances created in Wednesday's 3-0 loss versus Real Salt Lake.
Analysis: Herrera created the Dynamo's most chances Wednesday. Even though he scored at Orlando on April 18, he has not been rewarded with increased playing time, but rather a continuation of his usual role.
