Amine Adli

Adli will be sidelined for some weeks after suffering an injury during Bournemouth's preseason friendly against Real Betis, according to Bournemouth Echo.

Analysis: Adli had come off during that match shaking his head, a reaction that hinted at a significant issue at the time, and this update now confirms an extended absence though a precise return date has not been given. He was mainly used as a rotational option last season, contributing three goals and an assist across 31 appearances, including 10 starts, but his versatility across multiple attacking positions still makes his absence a real dent in Bournemouth's forward depth chart. Adli is expected to continue his recovery in the coming weeks as the club monitors his progress.

Scores goal in win

Adli scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Tuesday's 2-1 victory versus Everton.

Analysis: Adli finished a set piece that completed his team's comeback after 64 minutes of play Tuesday. He bounced back from one game without direct contributions, but he took at least one shot for the fourth time in a row while adding to his two goals and one assist over that period. However, he lacked playmaking output as he didn't take any corner kicks this time. In any case, his current momentum should be enough for him to retain offensive upside as a regular starter on the left wing.
