Returns to bench
Casimir (knee) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Lens.
Analysis: Casimir missed preseason with Auxerre while recovering from a knee injury following his World Cup involvement but has now returned to the squad. He faces an uphill battle for a starting role after seeing his playing time diminish late last season, finishing the campaign on the bench in seven straight appearances.
Available for opener
Casimir (knee) is in the squad for Saturday's match against Lens.
Analysis: Casimir didn't participate in the preseason with Auxerre while working his way back from a knee injury, but he'll be a game-time call for this matchup. The winger notched just one goal in 31 appearances (16 starts) for Auxerre in the 2025/26 season, so even if he starts regularly, his production has been subpar at best.
