Keeps clean sheet against Genoa
Meret had two saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Genoa.
Analysis: Meret had an easy day at the office, as Genoa were never too dangerous on offense, and he was forced to intervene on just two meek shots. He has opened the season ahead of Vanja Milinkovic-Savic in the pecking order, which wasn't the case last year, also because of his injury woes. He kept three clean sheets, made 21 saves and allowed 15 goals in 12 starts in 2025/2026. Up next, Napoli will host Como next Sunday.
Doesn't concede versus Udinese
Meret made two saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 1-0 win against Udinese.
Analysis: Meret had a relatively easy day at the office in his second consecutive start over Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. He has paid the price for the competition and a fairly big injury this season, starting just 12 times, during which he secured three clean sheets, made 23 saves and gave up 15 goals. It remains to be seen whether Napoli will continue with two starting-caliber goalkeepers.
Clean sheet in XI return
Meret had two saves and allowed zero goals in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Pisa.
Analysis: Meret was selected again after seven straight games on the bench and delivered a solid performance, successfully handling the limited tests he faced by saving both shots on target. It marked his third clean sheet in 10 Serie A starts this season and his first in the last eight appearances. Napoli will close their season on Sunday against Udinese.
