Moves to Lyon on five-year deal

Bidstrup has joined Lyon from RB Salzburg on a five-year deal through June 2031, the club announced.

Analysis: Bidstrup began his career in Denmark before developing in Germany and England, where he was part of the Brentford side that earned promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2020/21 season. He returned to Denmark in 2022 with FC Nordsjaelland before joining RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023, where he went on to make 116 appearances across three seasons, establishing himself as a reliable figure at his position and earning his first Denmark senior call-up.
