Shown red card in Montreal trip
Marcinkowski was sent off with a straight red card during Saturday's match against Montreal.
Analysis: Marcinkowski had made three saves and two clearances while allowing one goal in 69 minutes, but he risked a run out of his box to stop a clear chance and ended up committing a foul that earned him the red card. The goalkeeper will consequently be suspended next weekend versus San Diego. After that, he'll have a chance to reappear when the Galaxy face New England Revolution. Novak Micovic should have a rare chance to produce while Marcinkowski serves his ban.
Shuts out former club
Marcinkowski kept a clean sheet while making four saves during Wednesday's 1-0 win over San Jose.
Analysis: Marcinkowski helped the Galaxy claim all three points by shutting out San Jose on Wednesday. The keeper has allowed just one goal while combining for nine saves and keeping two clean sheets over his last three starts. The Galaxy head to Montreal in their next match Saturday.
