Fully fit for Strasbourg clash
Boudaoui is fully fit and available for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash against Strasbourg after using the international break to regain his fitness, according to Radio France.
Analysis: Boudaoui appears to have put his early-season fitness concerns behind him, giving Nice another experienced option in midfield ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Racing. The Algerian midfielder made a brief appearance against Auxerre before remaining on the bench against Lille, and he now faces an uphill battle to reclaim a starting role with the Djibril Coulibaly-Axel Witsel partnership having started every match since Matchday 2. Boudaoui's uncertain future at the club could also influence his role moving forward, though he'll be looking to earn more minutes and rebuild his place in the rotation.
Returned as a sub in loss
Boudaoui recorded one tackle (zero won) and one interception in Thursday's 2-0 defeat to Switzerland. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 72nd minute.
Analysis: Boudaoui returned to the Algeria team after starting the first two matches. He came on as a sub with 19 minutes to go and managed to get booked within a minute. He made an interception, but was unable to win his only tackle. Algeria were unable to break down the opposition and were knocked out 2-0 by Switzerland.
