Last September, a 17-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye could not travel with the Paris Saint-Germain squad because he had to sit an exam.
Yet age is no barrier for this fearless right-winger. Breaking records as the youngest to achieve something for club and country has become part of his routine.
It is no wonder that Mbaye, now 18, has drawn interest from several of Europe’s top clubs, including Liverpool, Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen.
And while his future may be uncertain, his talent is not.
