Jean-Victor Makengo
LOR
Records three shots
Makengo registered three shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Nice.
Analysis: Makengo was given a starting role for Lorient on opening day and played the full 90 in an attacking midfielder role. He would take three shots and put one on target while also adding one cross. He hopes his starting role leads to more goal contributions this campaign, as he only earned four goals and two assists in 31 appearances during the 2025/26 season.
Scores goal
Makengo scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal), one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-0 victory versus Metz. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 42nd minute.
Analysis: The goal marks Makengo's first since Feb. 15. After just two goals across his previous four Ligue 1 seasons, he has doubled the scoring tally this season with four scored across 30 appearances.
