Difficult time in 3-0 loss
Hendry recorded two clearances in Wednesday's 3-0 loss against Brazil.
Analysis: Hendry was put under pressure by the Brazilian attacking line as they would beat the Scots 3-0. When the game was 1-0 in the first half, Hendry was dispossessed by Vinicius Jr, who put the ball in the back of the net. Luckily, it was judged that Vini Jr had fouled Hendry in taking possession of the ball, and the goal didn't stand. The defender has played the full 90 minutes in each of the three group stage games.
Solid in defense despite loss
Hendry generated two tackles (two won) and three clearances in Friday's 1-0 loss versus Morocco.
Analysis: Hendry made a crucial block to deny Ismael Saibari's second-half effort that struck the woodwork, helping Scotland limit further damage in Friday's 1-0 World Cup defeat to Morocco at Boston Stadium. He could do nothing about Saibari's 70-second opener, one of the fastest goals in tournament history, but contributed two tackles (two won) and three clearances on the night. Scotland now sit on three points and will need a positive result against five-time champions Brazil to advance from Group C.
