Noah Edjouma
B29
Available against Nice
Edjouma is available for Friday's Ligue 1 clash against Nice after missing Saturday's match against Lille due to an agreement between the two clubs related to his loan.
Analysis: Edjouma was unavailable against his parent club Lille due to a loan agreement, but he is now eligible to return to Brest's squad for Friday's meeting with Nice. The midfielder has primarily featured in a substitute role this season, providing additional depth in the middle of the park. He is expected to resume his usual role as an option off the bench rather than immediately challenge for a starting position.
Fit to play
Edjouma (thigh) is not listed on the injury report, is expected to train Saturday and will be fit to play if selected for Sunday's clash against Monaco, with coach Bruno Genesio set to decide whether to include him in the senior squad for the weekend fixture.
Analysis: Edjouma had been ruled out of last weekend's clash against Le Havre with thigh pain, but his swift recovery puts him right back in contention for the final fixture of Lille's season. The midfielder has mainly operated as a bench option since his arrival, and coach Genesio will weigh his fitness and form before making a final call on whether he travels with the senior squad for Sunday's clash against Monaco.
Suffers thigh pain
Edjouma is ruled out of Sunday's clash against Le Havre after feeling pain in his thigh, according to coach Bruno Genesio. "Noah felt pain in his thigh, he will be rested for a few days."
Analysis: Edjouma has mainly operated as a bench option for Lille since his arrival, so his absence is unlikely to significantly disrupt the starting lineup against Le Havre. The club will monitor his condition over the coming days before making a call on his availability for the remaining fixtures of the season.
