Fires five shots
Chupe took five shots (two on goal) and crossed once inaccurately during Sunday's 5-2 loss to Real Sociedad.
Analysis: Chupe was held off the scoresheet despite leading Malaga with five shots in the match. The forward has combined for six shots and two crosses over his last three appearances but hasn't had a goal since August 24th.
Outstanding season in 2025/26
Chupe scored 25 goals and added six assists in 45 league appearances for Malaga in the 2025/26 season.
Analysis: Chupe was the main reference upfront all season long for Malaga, and the striker was the only player to surpass the 20-goal plateau. He was more than just a finisher, however, and his six assists ranked second on the team behind Joaquin Munoz's seven. Malaga are expected to strengthen the side over the summer, but Chupe should have a role with the squad in the return to LaLiga for 2026/27.
