Uzun (thigh) has returned to full team training after missing Turkey's last two international matches as a precaution and is available for Saturday's clash against RB Leipzig, although his starting status remains uncertain, according to coach Adi Hutter. "I spoke with him at length earlier, and he trained completely normally and well today."
Analysis: Uzun appears to have recovered from the thigh issue that kept him out of Turkey's matches against Belgium and Italy, with his return to full training confirming the expected recovery timeline. The attacking midfielder is now back in contention against Leipzig, although manager Adi Hutter has yet to decide whether he will feature in the starting lineup. Competition for attacking positions remains significant, with Jonathan Burkardt, Younes Ebnoutalib and Ritsu Doan also pushing for starting roles. Uzun could therefore be used off the bench despite his improved fitness.

Analysis: Uzun scored Frankfurt's only goal during Saturday's loss, doing everything he could to try and keep his side in the match. He also took four shots and was busy throughout on set-pieces. The midfielder was a contributor in every facet of the attack and it still wasn't enough to overcome a poor showing from the team around him.

He's had a strong second season in the Bundesliga, but hasn't quite managed to build off his brilliant start.
