Excellent in start

Otavio had four tackles (four won) and seven clearances in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Troyes. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 62nd minute.

Analysis: Without the injured Nhoa Sangui (undisclosed) available Saturday, it became apparent that Otavio would start at left-back against Troyes, and he stepped up. Even though Paris FC dealt with a lot of defensive action, he cleared the ball seven times, won all four of his tackles and logged a crucial shot block. Sangui becoming available may dampen Otavio's chances of starting at left-back, but the latter started his season indicating that he should remain a key member of the Paris team, as was evident last season with his 21 starts in 23 appearances.
