Returns to starting role
Greaves registered one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Manchester City.
Analysis: Greaves was back in the starting role Saturday, earning the start and playing 89 minutes after two straight games unused. It would be a rough day in the defense after three goals allowed, notching three tackles (one won) and three clearances on his part. He is yet to be a part of a clean sheet squad this campaign in his five appearances (five starts).
Busy defensively
Greaves had three tackles (two won) and four clearances in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Sunderland.
Analysis: Greaves made three tackles and four clearances Saturday, leading the way defensively as Ipswich took an impressive opening day win. This is going to be a difficult season with plenty of defensive work to go around and Greaves figures to do a lot of it. The defender will be tasked with putting out repeated fires in the backline especially against the top sides.
