Plays one half in Bologna game
Lang created one scoring chance and had one off-target shot, three crosses (one accurate) and two corners in 45 minutes in Sunday's 1-0 win over Bologna.
Analysis: Lang didn't get the start following a minor incident with the coach, but saw plenty of action and had a respectable performance in the final third. He'll rotate with David Neres and Antonio Vergara while Alisson Santos (thigh) is out. He has sent in multiple crosses in his three appearances, amassing eight (one accurate) and adding two off-target shots, two key passes and three tackles (two won).
Discipined in Arsenal fixture
Lang "will watch the game from the stands due to unprofessional behavior, but he apologizied to the group, and the case is closed," director Giovanni Manna told Sky Italy.
Analysis: Lang has been handed a one-game, team-mandated suspension for breaking some sort of internal rule in recent days. He should be back versus Bologna, considering the exec's remarks, but the incident won't help him gain ground on Alisson Santos and David Neres in the depth chart.
Returning to Napoli
Lang headed back to Napoli, as Galatasaray didn't activate their option to redeem him.
Analysis: Lang had a serviceable turn in Turkey, posting two goals and three assists in 19 appearances in the second half of the season, but the fixed sum to keep him permanently was rich. He'll be assessed by new Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri during the summer.
